COLLEGE STATION – The No. 10 Texas A&M men’s golf team is back in action this week as it travels to Bremerton, Wash., to take part in the Kikkor Golf Husky Invitational hosted by the University of Washington.

The 54-hole tournament will run Monday, Sept. 17 through Tuesday, Sept. 18 and be held at Gold Mountain Golf Complex. The team championship will be played on the Olympic Course, while the individual championship will take place on the Cascade Course. Golfers will play 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday.

The Olympic Course is a 7,124-yard, par-72 track that has hosted the 2006 U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship, the 2011 U.S. Junior Amateur Championship and the NCAA Men's West Regional twice (2010 and 2008).

The Cascade Course is par-71 and will play at 6,707 yards for the individual competitors.

“The golf course up there is really a great facility,” Texas A&M head coach J.T. Higgins said. “It has hosted a couple of NCAA Regionals as well as a U.S. Junior Championship, so it’s a fantastic place to play. We’ll be facing an elite group of Pac-12 and west coast schools, so it’s really going to be some fierce competition for us. “

Participating for the Aggies in the team championship will be Cameron Peck, Johannes Veerman, Ty Dunlap, Ben Crancer and Greg Yates. Meanwhile, in the individual championship Drew Evans, Jade Scott, Case Cochran, Andrew Lister and Ryan Kelley will represent Texas A&M.

Live scoring for the team portion of the tournament will be available on Golfstat.com and results from the individual championship will be available each night on GoHuskies.com.
