Two more Texas A&M football players were named to national award watch lists as senior Dustin Harris was honored by the Paul Hornung Award and junior Damontre Moore by the Ted Hendricks Award.

The Paul Hornung Award is given annually to the most versatile player in college football, while the Hendricks Award honors the nation’s premier defensive end.

Harris, a senior from Livingston, Texas, led the NCAA in punt returns with an average of 18.6 yards on 18 returns last season. He also led the team in kickoff returns and ranked among the team leaders in tackles and passes broken up from his cornerback position.

Moore, a junior from Rowlett, Texas, shifts to defensive end in 2012 after spending his first two seasons at rush linebacker. Moore ranked among the nation’s top 25 in quarterback sacks and tackles for losses last season with 8.5 sacks and 17.5 tackles behind the line of scrimmage.

The Texas A&M football team reported to campus on Thursday, and will begin preparations for the 2012 season with its first workout on Friday afternoon.
