McMillian Headed to New Mexico - Wife Cydryce Will Eventually Leave A&M Consolidated

Bryan High product Charles McMillian is on the move again. After coaching the defensive backs at Prairie View A&M last season Coach Mac is headed to the University of New Mexico to join Bob Davie's staff in Albuquerque.

Charles was an assistant coach at Texas A&M under Mike Sherman for four years (2008-2011). In 2012 Coach Mac was David Raffield's secondary coach at A&M Consolidated High School. Charles has also had coaching stops at TCU, Indiana, Cincinnati, Navy, & Boise State.

That also means that A&M Consolidated will eventually have a vacancy on their Volleyball Coach Staff.

Cydryce McMillian has been the Lady Tigers head coach for six years posting an overall record of 206-54. Consolidated qualified for the playoffs every year in the McMillian era which included a pair of 5A Regional Tournament appearances.

Cydryce said she would eventually follow her husband to Albuquerque, but didn't know if that meant she would be back to coach the Lady Tigers this fall or when exactly she and their children would be headed west.

Cydryce McMillian has coached the Lady Tiger Volleyball team for six seasons qualifying for the playoffs every season with two trips to the 5A Regional Tournament.
In six seasons at A&M Consolidated High School Cydryce McMillian has an overall record of 206-57.
Between four seasons at Texas A&M (2008-2011) and this season at Prairie View A&M. Charles McMillian coached the secondary at A&M Consolidated High School in College Station.
Charles McMillian has joined Bob Davie's Lobo coaching staff at New Mexico. He has also made coaching stops at Boise State, Navy, Indiana, TCU, Texas A&M, & Prairie View A&M. He was a secondary coach at Texas A&M under Mike Sherman from 2008-2011.
