TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - No. 1 Alabama is identifying potential issues with minimal stress on the field.

The Crimson Tide easily dispatched its fourth straight opponent this season with a 40-7 win over Florida Atlantic on Saturday. It's creating opportunities to painlessly focus on the little things each week.

Alabama coach Nick Saban says that game was about preparing for Southeastern Conference play, which resumes with a visit from Mississippi. The issues included glitches in the red zone, which have been rare.

The Tide has scored on all 18 trips inside the opponents' 20-yard line but had to settle for three field goals in those situations against the Owls.

Alabama also committed one turnover and didn't force any for the first time this season. Saban says the consequences will be greater against better competition.
