No. 2 Mumford boys win at No. 14 Milano 51-42

MILANO, Texas -- The No. 2 Mumford boys outlasted No. 14 Milano 51-42 in a key District 25-1A Division I matchup Tuesday night.

The Mustangs led by 12 at the half and stayed ahead in the second half to improve to 27-0 on the season. Milano falls to 16-6.

LaKendric Hyson led the Mustangs in scoring with 22 points.

Mumford will host Somerville Friday.

Milano plays at Iola.
