The semifinalists for the Bowerman Award were announced today with a pair of Texas A&M athletes on the list of ten.
The Bowerman is given annually to the most outstanding male and female collegiate track & field athletes in the nation. Wayne Davis II and Sam Humphreys were the two Aggies that made the cut.
Davis won the NCAA Outdoor Title in the 110 meter hurdles and finished runner-up in the 60 meter hurdles at the NCAA Championships.
Humphreys won the NCAA title in the javelin and went undefeated in six javelin finals this season.
Texas A&M becomes just the fifth team to have two semifinalists in the same year.
