OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Robbie Rea used a hard slide into home plate to score the winning run on Randy McCurry's foul fly ball in the eighth inning, lifting Oklahoma State to a 3-2 win against rival Oklahoma on Sunday in the final game of the Bedlam series.
The Cowboys (28-18, 13-8 Big 12) won the series for the second straight year and moved into a three-way tie for second place in the Big 12 after Texas and Texas A&M both lost in extra innings earlier Sunday.
McCurry lofted a fly ball down the right-field line that Cody Reine caught before firing home. His throw got there just as Rea was sliding in, knocking the ball out of catcher Dylan Neal's grasp to score the winning run.
Blake Barnes (5-3) pitched 3 1-3 innings of scoreless relief for the Cowboys.
