BRYAN -- The Rudder Rangers will make the trip to Huntsville Friday night for a district 18-4A match-up with Huntsville. Both teams are 1-2 on the season.

Rudder picked up their first win of the season last week beating Magnolia 20-17 in their district 18-4A opener. Huntsville beat Humble in their season opener but the Hornets have lost two straight games including their district opener last week against Montgomery.

Rudder head coach C.M. Pier described the Hornets as fast and physical. "They are going to come at you from everywhere on defense. Offensively they don't do a whole lot. They give you a lot of sets and whatnot but they run the ball well and they throw it when they have to."

Rudder and Huntsville will kick-off at 7:30 Friday night at Bowers Stadium in Huntsville. You can see how the game turns out at 11:35pm on Friday Football Fever on KBTX.
