Division I Football Championship Ticket Information
With the victory over Eastern Washington Saturday, Sam Houston State has earned back-to-back trips to the NCAA Division I Football Championship game.
The Bearkats will play North Dakota State at 12 noon on Saturday, January 5 at FC Dallas Stadium in Frisco, Texas.
NCAA Championship tickets are available to the following:
Season Ticket Holders:
2012 season ticket holders have until Wednesday, December 19 at 5 p.m. to guarantee their seats for the NCAA Championship game. Tickets may be purchased in person or by calling the SHSU athletic ticket office at (936)294-1729 starting at 8 A.M., Monday, December 17.
Season ticket holder's priority varies by type of account. Tickets for Season Ticket Holders cost $45, and will be located in the Midfield areas. All tickets will be charged a $5 per ticket fee.
Bearkat Champions & Corporate Partners - may purchase the same number of tickets in their account, plus up to 4 additional tickets.
Premium Reserved - may purchase up to 4 tickets or may match the number of tickets in their season ticket account if greater than 4.
Bleacher Reserved - may match the number of season tickets purchased only.
More than 1,000 tickets are available to SHSU students.
Students will receive an email with a password and instructions to purchase tickets online through the NCAA web site beginning Tuesday, December 18 at a time to be announced.
Students will have the opportunity to purchase up to two tickets through Friday, December 21 at 5 p.m., as long as tickets remain.
All students will be required to show their active Bearkat OneCard at FC Dallas Stadium on game day to pick up their tickets. Transfer of tickets is not permitted. Ticket limits will be strictly enforced.
Alumni & General Public:
A limited number of tickets are now available online for purchase to alumni and the general public. Each pair of tickets purchased requires a $100 donation to the Sam Houston State general athletic fund benefitting student-athletes.
Alumni and fans may purchase up to eight tickets each. You may also purchase via the athletic ticket offices beginning at 8 a.m. on Monday, December 17, subject to availability.
Tickets purchased through this option cost $40, and will be located in the Sideline seating area. All tickets will be charged a $5 per ticket fee. All donations will be 80% tax deductible. Please consult with your tax adviser on details.
