Second Half Surge Powers Spring Past A&M Consolidated In Opening Round Of Playoffs

MONTGOMERY, Texas -- The A&M Consolidated varsity boys basketball season came to an end Monday night following a 60-49 loss to Spring at Bear Gym.

The Tigers led the game at the half 28-25, but were outscored 35-21 in the second half. Spring started the third quarter with a dunk by Deosic West and never looked back on their way to a first round playoff win. Derrick Dick led the Tigers with 17 points, while Jimmie Gilbert added 16.

The Tigers end their season at 21 - 11 while Spring advances as they improve their record to 32-11.
