Seven Lakes Wins Gold Division Championship At B/CS McDonald's All-Star Invitational

BRYAN, TX -- The Seven Lakes Spartans used a 22-3 4th quarter run to beat Clear Falls 54-36 in the Gold Division Championship Game of the three day Bryan/College Station McDonald's Girls' All-Star Invitational basketball tournament.

Behind a pair of three pointers by Brittany Bigott to start the 4th quarter the Spartans erased a 31-30 Clear Falls lead.

Seven Lakes opened up the 2nd half with a 26-14 advantage, but were outscored 19-4 in the 3rd quarter. The Knights got a 3 pointer from Madison Ruta late in the period to give them a brief lead.

Christen Inman led the Spartans in scoring with 17 points, while Erin Farmer and Hannah Odegard paced the Knights with 15 each.
