NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas -- The Snook Ladyjay basketball team beat Port Aransas 43-35 this afternoon at the Class A Division 1 Region IV basketball tournament at New Braunfels Canyon High School.
Shakera Barnes and Chastity Howard each scored 16 points for the Ladyjays.
Snook will face Thorndale Saturday at 1pm for a berth in the Class 1A Division 1 State basketball tournament. Thorndale beat Falls City 43-29 earlier today.
