Softball Teams are Rejunvenated and Ready for Sectionals

Little League Softball is back in action on July 12 as sectional tournaments start up.

Senior Minor girls from District 33's Bryan National will play in Pflugerville against South Austin Optimist from District 11, La Grange from District 13, and Elgin from District 30. National's first game is set against South Austin Optimist at 8 p.m. on July 12th.

Major girls softball will also be played in Elgin, and teams include La Grange from District 13, Elgin from District 30, and Bryan United from District 33. United begins the tournament on July 13th at 7 p.m. to face the winner of the Elgin vs. La Grange game on July 12th.

Junior League softball will be hosted by Bryan United Little League. Representative teams from Districts 13, 30, and 33 respectively, are Columbus, Pflugerville, and United. United will face the winner of the July 12th Pflugerville vs. Columbus game on July 13th at 7 p.m.

Senior League softball's lone participant is District 33, allowing District 33 to automatically advance to the Texas East State Tournament.

There were no participating teams for the 10 & 11 year-old softball sectional tournament.
