HOUSTON -- Houston Texans safety Glover Quin hardly thinks about it. He also never wants to forget it.
Two years ago in Jacksonville, Quin tried to knock down a 50-yard desperation heave from David Garrard. He got his hands on it all right, but the ball dropped into the hands of Mike Thomas, who stepped across the goal line for the winning touchdown.
The Texans (1-0) return to Jacksonville (0-1) for a key divisional game this weekend. Quin was a cornerback in a 4-3 defense then, and he's a safety in Wade Phillips' 3-4 defense now.
Quin says safety is a more complex position to master, but he's developed a comfort level there. He started all 16 games last season and finished with 77 tackles, nine pass break-ups and a fumble recovery.
