The Aggies look to pick up their first Southeastern Conference win after losing to No. 11 Florida in their opener, and snap a three-game losing skid to Arkansas. The Razorbacks, who were expected to compete for the SEC title entering the season, are desperate for a win after dropping their last three games, including 35-26 to Rutgers last week.


Texas A&M QB Johnny Manziel vs. Arkansas defense. The freshman has accounted for 11 touchdowns in the past two games. He threw for three scores and ran for two more by halftime in a lopsided 70-14 win over South Carolina State last week. He'll face a defense that allowed Rutgers' Gary Nova to throw for 397 yards and five scores.


Arkansas: QB Tyler Wilson threw for 419 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions in the loss to Rutgers after missing a blowout loss to Alabama with a concussion. He had 367 yards passing with three touchdowns in a win over Jacksonville State, then threw for 196 yards and two scores before he was injured against Louisiana-Monroe.

Texas A&M: KR Dustin Harris was named SEC co-special teams player of the week after setting school and SEC records with 246 punt return yards against South Carolina State. He had a 96-yard return for a touchdown, the second-longest in school history.


This series began in 1903. ... Saturday will mark the Razorbacks' first trip to Kyle Field since 1991, when both were members of the Southwest Conference. The Aggies won 13-3. ... This matchup will return to Cowboys Stadium from 2014-2024. The teams played in Arlington, Texas, the first three years the stadium was opened, but agreed to one set of a home-and-home series when A&M joined the SEC last year. ... Texas A&M has won four of its last five over Arkansas in College Station. ... Texas A&M DE Damontre Moore leads the nation in sacks per game at two. He has six in three games.
