Texas claims NHSFR team title

ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. (AP) - Texas has claimed the overall National High School Finals Rodeo team title.

The rodeo was held this last week in Rock Springs.

Oklahoma was second overall in the team standings, followed by California, New Mexico and Arizona.

Wyoming finished 10th overall in the team title with the girls placing second in girls team standings.

The rodeo featured 44 teams from around the country, Canada and Australia.
