Three A&M Games Added to TV Lineup

COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Texas A&M baseball will have three more games televised, including one on the CBS Sports Network and two on Fox Sports Southwest, it was announced on Wednesday.

The announcement brings the total of A&M games to be televised in 2014 to nine.

The match-up between the Aggies and the No. 2 LSU Tigers on Friday, May 2 will be broadcast on the CBS Sports Network as a part of seven SEC games being shown by the network the league announced on Wednesday. The broadcast will start at 6:30 pm (CT) and is available on DirecTV channel 221 and Dish Network channel 158.

Additionally two games will be distributed by Fox Sports Southwest in conjunction with Learfield Sports. FSSW will air two of A&M’s home games against Alabama, including the contests on Friday night and Saturday afternoon.

The Aggies already announced six SEC games slated for TV earlier in the year. Texas A&M will have three home games as part of the package. The Aggies’ Saturday and Sunday games against LSU will be televised on ESPN2 (May 3) and ESPNU (May 4), respectively, along with A&M’s Friday contest versus Ole Miss on ESPNU (May 16)

Texas A&M will play two televised games at Mississippi State, including the opening game of the series on ESPNU as part of the Thursday Night SEC Baseball Game of the Week package on April 24. The Saturday game versus the Bulldogs will be shown on FSN. Texas A&M’s final road game as part of the SEC package is May 10 at Arkansas, set to be shown on Cox Sports Television.
