Tiger Baseball Tops Hutto 4-1 At Olsen Field Monday Night

COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- The A&M Consolidated Tigers (5-5-1) got a 3 run homerun from Ben Kennedy and a complete game from Tyler Sanchez as they beat Hutto 4-1 at Olsen Field on the Texas A&M Campus.

Sanchez was able to work with a lead after the Tiger offense scored a run in the bottom of the first. Keagan Brooks singles in Thomas Middleton for a 1-0 lead.

The Hippos would have trouble putting the bat on the ball against Sanchez. He gives up just 3 hits and strikes out 12. Hutto is able to push across a run in the 5th to tie the game at 1.

But in the bottom of the 5th Ben Kennedy hits a towering shot down the left field line and A&M Consolidated goes onto win it 4-1.

Tigers will be back in action on Thursday at 4 when they take on Waxahachie in the Midway Tournament in Hewitt.
