HUNTSVILLE, TX -- Bo Ingram went 5-of-7 from three point range and scored 21 points to lead UT-Arlington to a 75-63 Southland Conference men's basketball victory over Sam Houston State Wednesday night.
The Mavericks (18-5, 10-0) stretched their school record winning streak to 14 games, the third longest in NCAA Division I. LaMarcus Reed added 18 points for UTA
Sam Houston (9-15, 3-7) was led by Marcus James with 24 points and a game-high 13 rebounds and Konner Tucker scored 17 points.
The were five early lead changes, but UTA took control in the final six minutes of the first half to take a 37-28 lead at intermission and out-scored the Bearkats 38-35 in the second half.
