West Virginia rips TCU 10-3 at Big 12 tournament

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Ryan McBroom drove in three runs, Billy Fleming and Ryan Tuntland had two RBIs apiece and West Virginia routed TCU 10-3 on Friday night at the Big 12 tournament.

Fleming doubled during a two-run first inning for the third-seeded Mountaineers (32-26), then tacked on a two-run single in the second to push the lead to 4-0 against TCU starter Brandon Finnegan (0-8). West Virginia pulled away with three runs in both the sixth and seventh innings, including a two-run double by McBroom.

Harrison Musgrave (9-1) gave up two runs on five hits in seven innings for the Mountaineers.

Jantzen Witte had three hits and Paul Hendrix hit a solo home run for the seventh-seeded Horned Frogs (29-27).
