COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M women’s basketball signees Peyton Little, Chelsea Jennings and Curtyce Knox excelled in the 2012 Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) All-Star Games in San Antonio.

The games consisted of two 20 minute halves with mandatory substitutions every three minutes in the first half and free substitutions for the second.

Despite the loss, Jennings (Fort Worth, Texas) was the leading scorer for the blue. The 5-foot-10 wing scored 15 points and added a couple steals and a couple blocked shots.

Knox and Jennings, along with fellow signees Jordan Jones (DeSoto, Texas) and Courtney Williams (Houston, Texas), each earned TABC Class 5A All-State honors.

TABC is the voice of Texas basketball and since 1975 has strived to promote basketball at all levels in the State of Texas. It is a research-based organization that provides the entire state with team updates throughout the basketball season, does Top Ten and Top 25 basketball rankings for high school basketball, hosts annual clinics and camps and honors numerous players, coaches and sportswriters with its annual awards.

Note: Courtney Walker (Edmond, Okla.) was named the 2011-12 Gatorade Oklahoma Girls Basketball Player of the Year. The 5-foot-8 guard is the first Gatorade Player of the Year to be chosen from Edmond Santa Fe High School.
