Posted: 07/20/2008 - The Brazos Blaze won their first pool game on Sunday against the Eunice Cardinals 14-1. Brice Springer was the winning pitcher giving up only two hits. Kevin Bishop led all hitters going 3 for 3 including a double while Brandon Coronado went 2 for 2 including a home run. The Blaze will have two games on Monday before the tournament brackets are set for the rest of the tournament.
