CONROE, Texas -- The A&M Consolidated Tigers beat the Kingwood Mustangs 55-45 Friday night at Moorhead Stadium in the bi-district round on the Class 5A Division 2 Playoffs.
The Tigers had to fight back from a 10 point third quarter deficit to pick up the win. A 60-yard Kobe Miller touchdown pass to Derrick Dick put Consol up 34-31. The Tigers would not trail again in the game.
Miller threw three touchdown passes in the game. Brandon Jackson ran for three touchdowns.
Consol will play Austin Westlake in the area round of the playoffs on Friday November 22 at 7:30 p.m. at Floyd Casey Stadium in Waco, Tx.
Westlake beat Pflugerville Hendrickson 17-10.
