The Copperas Cove Bulldogs visited the A&M Consolidated Tigers in a non-district game for the first time since being oppenents in District 12-5A.
The Tigers went into the game as underdogs but never showed that on the field.
Senior quarterback Jaylan Chesire took the wheel of Head Coach David Raffield's offense and floored it.
In the first quarter, Chesire hit reciever Derrick Dick for a 35-yard touchdown pass as the Tigers took a 7-0 lead.
Copperas Cove answered with quarterback Robbie Seybold sneaking into the endzone to tie the game.
But the Tigers would take the lead back on a 50 yard toucdown pass from Chesire to Kerry Thomas just a few minutes later.
Tigers lead 17-7 at the half and would go on to defeat Copperas Cove 31-20.
Chesire would keep the air attack going for Consol finishing the night with three touchdowns through the air and one on the ground.
