BELTON, Texas -- Belton used a big first quarter, building a 21-3 lead over Bryan and never looking back on the way to a 42-16 victory over their former district rivals.

Bryan quarterback Chris Johnson did not play in the second half.

The Vikings fall to 1-2 on the season and will host Pflugerville Hendrickson in their final pre-district tune up next week.

Belton is 2-0 and hosts Round Rock.
