BREMOND, TX -- The Bremond Tigers suffered a 19-13 loss to 10th ranked Bosqueville Friday night at Tiger Stadium.
Bosqueville got on the scoreboard after picking off Bremond quarterback James Jones in the first quarter. J.T. Antis with the pick setting up the Bulldog offense inside the Bremond 10.
A few plays later Bosqueville turns the miscue into points, C.J. Collins with the 34 yard touchdown pass to Chase Hood for a 7-0 lead.
Bremond will get the equalizer thanks to a 40 yard touchdown run by James Jones to tie the game at 7.
R.J. Bell and Bosqueville will answer with another score before the end of the first quarter. Bell with runs of 30 and 1 yards on the drive to put the Bulldogs up for good 13-7.
In the second quarter the Bulldogs go to the air to extend their lead, C.J. Collins 40 yards to Drew Hayes to make it 19-7.
Bremond will get a touchdown in the second half, but won't be able to complete the comeback as they drop back to back games for the first time since last season, 19-13 the final.
Bremond will be back home next Friday for their final non-district game against Iola. Kickoff is set for 7:30pm at Tiger Stadium.
