BRYAN -- The Bryan football team will close out their season Friday night against College Park at Merrill Green Stadium. The Vikings enter the game 2-7 on the season and 1-4 in district 14-5A play. The Cavaliers are 4-5 and 1-4 in district 14-5A play.
College Park needs a win over Bryan and a Conroe loss to Lufkin along with an Oak Ridge loss to The Woodlands to make the playoffs. Viking head coach Ross Rogers says the Cavaliers do play hard. "They took Consolidated to overtime. They played the Woodlands last weekend, played very hard and had chances and opportunities of course The Woodlands is a little stronger team." Rogers also said, "They are playing well and playing for a chance to go play Westfield in the first round and if we beat them the Conroe gets to go."
Bryan and College Park will kick-off at 7:30 Friday night. You can find out who won the game on Taco Bell's Friday Football Fever at 11:35pm on KBTX.
