BRYAN, TX -- The A&M Consolidated Tigers will be chasing back to back season opening wins for the first time since 2006 when they travel to Hewitt to take on Waco Midway Friday night at 7:30.
The Tigers (1-0) are coming off a 31-20 season opening win over former district rival Copperas Cove.
The Panthers (1-0) posted a 34-7 win over Bryan last week.
"When I came up this schedule I wanted to play people that would make us better," said Consol Head Football Coach David Raffield. "After watching film we have really had to step up our game at practice. We know on Friday night we're going to have to play a lot better than we did last Friday," concluded Raffield.
Kickoff will be at 7:30pm Friday night in Hewitt.
