Crawford Outlasts Hearne 47-33

The Hearne Eagles have made some major improvements under first year Head Coach Clinton Smith. Last season the Eagles went 2-7 but the entered Friday nights game against Crawford at 6-3 with a shot at second place in district 12-2A.

The teams went back and forth, Crawford showing off its impressive rushing attack while Hearne took to the sky.

Despite being down 20-6, Hearne tied the game in the 3rd quarter but two Crawford touchdowns with five minutes to go in the fourth quarter costs the Eagles the game as they get clipped 47-33.

But Hearne does make it into the playoffs as the third seed in the district. The Eagle first playoff appearance since 2008.
