JEWETT, Texas -- With seven starters returning on offense and eight back on defense the Cougars are poised to make it back to the postseason for the first time since 2010.

Tyler Morris is back under center to lead the Leon Wing-T offense, and he will have three starters back on the offensive line to lead the way. On defense two starters are back up front, three at linebacker, and three in the secondary.

The road to the postseason will be tough again, as the Cougars will have to get past state runner-up Mart (12-3 in 2012), Bosqueville (12-2), and Axtell (6-6) for a playoff spot. The opportunity to face Axtell and Bosqueville at home may be the edge the Cougars need to punch their ticket to the postseason in 2013.
