Montgomery pulls away from Rudder in fourth quarter

MONTGOMERY, Texas -- Montgomery pulled away in the second half to hand rudder a 28-14 loss in the Rangers final game of the season.

The Bears led 14-0 after one, but Rudder pulled even at 14-all early in the fourth quarter.

However, Bohdi Bell scored on a 70-yard screen pass and Paul Allen ran one in from 54-yards out to put it out of reach and give the Bears the win.

Montgomery improves to 6-3 on the year and 6-1 in 18-4A play.

Rudder wraps up the season with a 3-7 record.
