BRYAN, TX -- The Navasota football team will face China Spring Thursday night at Merrill Green Stadium in a Class 3A Division 2 bi-district playoff game. Kick-off is set for 7pm.

The Rattlers (10-0) are ranked number one in the state in class 3A. China Spring finished the regular season 6-4. The Cougars were 3-2 in district 17-3A play.

Navasota head coach Lee Fedora is excited his team will have a chance to open their playoff run in Bryan. "It's only 30 miles down the road and I think we are going to have a packed house. I don't know of anybody else in the area that is playing on Thursday so I am hoping we get not only Navasota Rattler fans but a lot of fans in the College Station area and the Bryan area. We are expecting a huge crowd with that playoff atmosphere."

The winner of the Navasota vs China Spring game will face the winner of the Jasper vs Groesbeck game in the area round of the playoffs next week.
