BRYAN, Texas -- The High School football regular season doesn't wrap up officially until next week, but it comes to a close for both A&M Consolidated and Rudder on Friday night.
Rudder will host Montgomery looking to snap a 10 game losing streak dating back to last season. Kickoff is set for 7:30pm at Merrill Green Stadium.
Meanwhile A&M Consolidated will use week 10 to rest up for the upcoming playoffs. The Tigers clinched a playoff berth last week with a 41-23 win over Oak Ridge.
A&M Consolidated will host Conroe in a "Battle of the Tigers" Friday at 7:30 at Tigerland Stadium.
"This game offers a lot of different opportunities to our team to get better," said Consol Head Coach David Raffield. "Some of them will be younger players playing for different reasons. Hopefully we can have a lot of success and play a lot of kids. Really and truly at this stage of the game you want to get better at your position," concluded Raffield.
Conroe had their bye week last week so they've had two weeks to prepare for Consol. In Conroe's last game on October 18th they suffered a 20-12 loss to Oak Ridge.
