COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- The A&M Consolidated football team beat College Park 41-7 Friday night at Tigerland Stadium. The Tiger are now 3-1 in district 14-5A play. The Cavaliers fall to 1-2.
Consol started the scoring with a seven yard touchdown pass from Kobe Miller to Kerry Thomas. The Tigers would lead 6-0 after one quarter.
Brandon Jackson scored a pair of second quarter touchdowns on runs of two yards and 51 yards to push the Tiger lead to 20-0. A College Park high snap on a punt set the Tigers up at the Cavaliers' two yard line. Defensive lineman DJ Jackson would cap off the drive with a two yard touchdown run to make it 27-0 at the half.
Miller and Thomas would hook up in the third quarter on a nine yard touchdown pass to push the Consol lead to 34-0. Mason Hickson would cap off the Tiger scoring with a 10 yard touchdown run.
A&M Consolidated will be on the road October 25 to face Oak Ridge at Moorhead Stadium in Conroe. College Park will host Lufkin October 25 at Woodforest Bank Stadium in Shenandoah.
