BRYAN, Texas -- Burton shut down the Snook offense and scored enough points of their own to claim a 26-8 win Friday night.
The Panthers got three Tanner Demuth first half touchdown runs to put all the points on the board they would need.
Louis Brown added a one-yard touchdown run in the fourth to put the Panthers up 26-0.
Snook scored later in the fourth on a Deon Hamilton to Curtis Williams touchdown toss, but Burton ran out the clock to pick up the victory.
Burton moves to 5-4 overall, 4-0 in district play and will be headed back to the playoffs.
Snook falls to 3-6, 2-2 but still has a shot next week at reaching the playoffs for the first time in school history.
