COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- The A&M Consolidated Tigers hosted Conroe's baseball team on Friday night and sent them home with a 6-2 loss.
Chase Corrington went 2 for 4 at the plate with two runs and an RBI. Stephen Schlett went 1 for 4 with a run, an RBI, and two walks. Tyler Landers went 1 for 2 with three RBIs in the game. Garrison Gibson, Kyle Pye, Brandon Letendre, and Kyle Barfield were all hit-by-pitch, and Gibson, Corrington, Schlett, and Letendre each stole a base.
Stuart Hennigar and Kyle Barfield split time on the hill for the Tigers. Hennigar went one inning, allowing one hit and striking out two. Barfield lasted six innings, allowing four hits, two earned runs, striking out six and giving up one home run.
The Tigers well play at home on April 4th against Lufkin at 6 p.m.
