COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- The College Station Cougars closed out their season Friday night with a 49-14 loss to Prime Prep at Cougar Stadium.

The Cougars tried to fight back from a 21-7 halftime deficit. Cole Whittlesey hit Jeremiah Booker with a 55 yard touchdown pass in the third quarter to cut the lead to 21-14 but that is as close as the Cougars would get.

Prime Prep's Alize Ward returned the ensuing kick-off 88 yards for a touchdown.

College Station finishes the season 6-3.
