MAGNOLIA, Texas - The College Station High School baseball team beat Huffman-Hargrave 3-1 in Magnolia on Saturday to advance to the Regional Finals.
The Cougars jumped out to an early lead in the first inning. A double from Baylor Rowlett scored a pair of runs as Walker Davis and Jaxxon Grisham made their way home for a 2-0 advantage.
College Station tacked on another run in the third inning. Mathew Bennett singled to the left side plating Rowlett to make it 3-0.
Rowlett also got the job done on the mound with the start. Rowlett threw five no hit innings with 7 strike outs holding the Falcons to just one run.
College Station will face Silsbee in the Regional finals next weekend.
