College Station Girls Take 2nd at State Powerlifting Meet

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas -- The College Station Lady powerlifting team took second at the 3A state meet Saturday.

College Station ended up with 16 points, second only Crystal City's 21. Monahans finished third with 13.

Cory Nutall won the individual state title in 123 pound class, squatting 370, bench pressing 140, and dead lifting 340.

Ashley Troutman is the state champ in the 132 pound class. She squatted 360, benched 165, and deal lifted 380.

The Lady Cougars Suba Johnson placed fourth at 198 pounds, Bri White placed seventh at 132, Selvedina Cajic was seventh at 220, Kalen Wootan ended up eighth at 114, Katie Lollar was eighth at 165, and Maddie Dudley placed ninth at 148.
