Cougars Go 1,2,3 in 3200 Twice at District 18-3A Track Meet

COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- College Station's 3200 meter distance runners made it a clean sweep in both the girls' and boys' races at the District 18-3A Track Meet at Cougar Stadium Wednesday afternoon.

In the girls' race Kelsie Warren defended her title with a time of 11:17.69 while team mate Leah Lewis came in second while Madeline Dungan finished 3rd.

In the boys' 3200 meter race, Jon Bishop won the district title with a time of 10:10.72, while his team mate Zephyr Seagraves came in 2nd.

Third place was up for grabs when College Station's Corban Ogle edged out Taylor's Nick Dominguez by .01 of a second allowing the Cougars to make it a clean sweep in the event.

The meet wraps Thursday at Cougar Stadium.
