COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- The College Station Cougars have lost back to back home games for the first time in school history.
Jasper scored first on a 40 yard touchdown strike from Steven Walker to Jamarcus Reed. in the first quarter. Later in the opening quarter Walker was looking for Reed again, but Drake Carnes came up with the interception of the bobbled pass. It was one of four first half turnovers the Cougars had in the first half.
Even with the four turnovers Jasper still lead the Cougars 21-0 at the half.
College Station scored a pair of touchdowns in the second half to make things interesting, but Jasper held on to win it 21-16.
The Cougars will be on the road next week battling Tomball Christian.
