The Navasota girls basketball team won their last regular season game of the year by defeating a very determined and well coached College Station High School team, 45-33.
The win clinched the runner up spot from District 18-3A. The Rattler's finished with a 6-4 district record and improved to 27-7 for the year.
Sophomore guard Molly Love led all scorers with 11 points followed by Harley White who added 10. Kalandrea Jefferson had 9 points while Tashyra Banks had 7 points to go along with her 13 rebounds. Denisha Ford added 4 points and had a career high 11 assists. Shakar Spriggs chipped in 4 points to round of the scoring.
Navasota shot 37% from the field and held College Station to just 11 of 49 from the field for 22%.
The Big Blue out-rebounded College Station 46-28. In addition to Bank's 13, Denisha Ford pulled down 9 and Molly Love grabbed 6.
