Seven Brazos Valley Seniors Sign National Letters Of Intent

BRYAN, Texas -- The November National Signing period has began and it was a historic one for Mumford ISD as basketball standout Aubrie King signed with St. Edwards. King is the first athlete from Mumford to sign a full ride scholarship.

He chose the Hilltoppers over Stephen F. Austin.

Three of Enrique Luna's Bryan High softball teams will take their skills to the next level.

Erica Russell will stay close to home at Texas A&M, while Ally Bessette will head to Belmont University in Nashville and Courtney Meier is going to Paris Junior College.

A&M Consolidated had two sports see three players sign letters of intent. Recent transfer LuLu McKinney is headed to UTEP to continue her basketball career. She's averaging a over 20 points and at least 10 assist for the Lady Tigers. She choose the Miners over San Diego, Cal-State Fullerton, and Florida Atlantic.

While from the Lady Tiger volleyball team -- Ashlynn Ford is headed to University of Texas-Arlington and Kaycey Cermin is going to Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina.
