State 7-on-7 Tournament Comes To A Close

COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- The 2014 7-on-7 State Football Tournament wrapped up Saturday afternoon at Veterans Park in College Station.

Katy Seven Lakes won the division one championship beating Whitehouse 42-25. A&M Consolidated lost to Seven Lakes 34-32 in their first game of championship bracket play on Saturday morning. Montgomery lost to Cy Fair 26-20 in their championship bracket opener.

College Station was playing in the consolation bracket after finishing 1-2 in pool play on Friday. The Cougars lost to Cy Falls 33-27 in overtime in the consolation bracket title game. College Station beat Cedar Hill 46-26, Somerset 44-13, Alamo Heights 41-21, and Byron Nelson 40-25 on their way to the title game.
