A&M Consolidated & Bryan Set To Battle In 27th 'The Original - Crosstown Showdown'

Updated: 10/09/2014 - For the first time in the history of the A&M Consolidated - Bryan football series Tigerland Stadium will be the backdrop for the game. The first ever meeting took place in 1986 at Kyle Field with Bryan winning 55-8. In 1987 Merrill Green Stadium (then Viking Stadium) hosted the game and Bryan turned away A&M Consolidated on a goal line stand (13-7) to make it back to back wins to start the series.
