First pitch of the Blinn baseball team’s Saturday doubleheader against San Jacinto has been moved to 2 p.m. at Leroy Dreyer Field.
The Buccaneers and Gators will close out their four-game series following a Thursday doubleheader at San Jacinto.
Prior to Saturday’s games, the Buccaneers will present a check on behalf of the College’s Athletic Department to Adam’s Angels Ministry at 1:30. The local non-profit organization was selected as the beneficiary of the department’s Adopt-a-Charity program. Money was raised for Adam’s Angels through gate proceeds and donations at select Blinn games throughout the year.
Adam’s Angels Ministry was founded by Donna and Tim Culliver of Brenham after they lost their 4-year-old son, Adam Christian Culliver, to acute myelogenous leukemia. Proceeds from the games allow Adam’s Angels to assist families with living expenses, fuel costs, medical parking and meal vouchers. Individuals or companies wishing to donate directly to Adam’s Angels Ministry can send checks to: P.O. Box 2573 Brenham, TX 77834, or visit www.adamsangelsministry.org.
