The SEC Network launches in four months, and the promotion for the new channel has begun, including a nod to Texas A&M.
As part of the lead-up to the August 14 start of the Southeastern Conference's station devoted to athletics at the 14 member schools, ESPN and the SEC debuted 14 commercials, each featuring a different school.
Texas A&M's 30-second spot highlights Reveille VIII, the mascot of the university and the highest-ranking member of the Corps of Cadets.
Currently, Dish Network is the only local provider to pick up the SEC Network, which was created through a 20-year agreement between the conference and ESPN.
In addition to other sports, nearly 50 football games are slated to air in the 2014 season. The first will be A&M and South Carolina on August 28 in Columbia.
