WACO, Texas -- Aggie Shane Lechler was inducted into the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame today at the Texas Sports Hall of Fame.

Lechler, a star quarterback at East Bernard, was the 1990's representative to the 2014 class.

Lechler said, "It's a great honor. Any time you get voted into something like this, as distinguished as it is, it's a great honor. It's a humbling experience to be with guys that played a long time ago and coached a long time ago. Looking at that table you can't help but think about how much football knowledge is sitting there. I enjoy ever bit of this."
