OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - A day after the Thunder found out they would likely be without forward Serge Ibaka for the rest of the playoffs, they began practicing for their Western Conference finals series against the San Antonio Spurs.

Ibaka, one of the NBA's top shot blockers, hurt his left calf in Game 6 of the Western Conference semifinal against the Los Angeles Clippers. Thunder coach Scott Brooks said Saturday the team remains confident it can advance to the NBA Finals. The players felt badly for their teammate but said they must move on.

Brooks wouldn't say who would start in Ibaka's place in Game 1 on Monday night in San Antonio. Based on past patterns, rookie center Steven Adams and veteran forward Nick Collison would likely pick up most of the minutes.
