BRYAN -- The Rams have some holes to fill but return enough talent to make another run in the playoffs. All-state back Mason Schieffer returns to lead an offense that returns three starters and put up 44 points per game a year ago but is looking for more. “Fans can expect to see high scores,” said Jolly. “With our new offense we feel pretty confident that we will be able to put a lot of points on the board. We will also have a deeper roster so that we can keep guys fresh and play solid defense as well.”

Sophomore Jake Georgiades and freshman Cody Vega will compete for snaps at quarterback and try to replace the graduating James Brien.

Three starters also return on defense, two on the line and one in the secondary.

Allen Academy hopes to challenge Waco Live Oak Classical for the district title, and playing the Falcons at home on October 26 could help them get over the hump. The Rams have high expectations, and fans should expect to see them in the playoffs for the fifth year in a row.
